What I don't understand is that you are saying 'if it is a BUG'. I also like the fact that you are also agreeing that this is abnormal behavior. Thank you for acknowledging that the problem I see has been reproduced on your side and you have tried all kind of methods but couldn't fix it. Therefore, I cannot help but conclude that this is a bug that needs to be fixed. I do not see this happening in any other MS Office suites. This is very unnatural behavior for a software to do and it is very frustrating. However, as soon as I hit the Enter key (or return key on a Mac), something is overriding the command that the user just placed. (font change) should remain effective unless the user puts a new command to override the previous command. After the input of this command, the NATURAL expectation from this point on is that the command I would 'select all' and change everything in the existing page to the font I would like to use. You’ll find text formatting options, like font size, color, and style, in theīasic Text section." - yes, this is EXACTLY what I do. To do so, " Select the text you want to change and choose the Home tab. I get that.Įven so, if I need to change the font in an EXISTING PAGE, I should be able to change that, correct? The default font change applies only to NEW PAGES - OK.
